Download your purchase from My sounds first. Menu names can vary with your phone’s software version.
iPhone
Use M4A and save it to Files. You can import the audio into GarageBand, choose a section up to 30 seconds and share it as a ringtone. M4R is also available for workflows that support transferring ringtones from a computer.
On iOS 26, compatible short audio files in Files can also offer Use as Ringtone from the share menu. If that option is missing, use GarageBand.
Apple’s GarageBand instructionsSamsung Galaxy
Download the MP3. Open Settings → Sounds and vibration → Ringtone → +. Select the file and confirm. If you use two SIM cards, choose the relevant SIM first.
Google Pixel
Download the MP3. Open Settings → Sound and vibration → Phone ringtone → My Sounds → +. Select your downloaded file and save.
Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO
Open Settings → Sound and vibration → Ringtone. Choose a local ringtone or file and select the MP3. The exact wording differs between MIUI and HyperOS versions.
