Your sounds are private.

Icey AB, 556968-8913, is responsible for personal data processing by Hampis. We use your email address for your account, delivery, support and necessary purchase notifications. Your name is optional. Phone numbers are only used internally to find and verify older purchases.

What do we keep?

Your profile, purchases and support history are kept to provide the service. We use limited security logs to prevent abuse. We do not send marketing without separate permission.

Uploaded originals expire after 55 minutes and are then removed by scheduled cleanup. Your purchased clip is kept privately so you can listen and download it again. Uploaded sounds are not published in the catalogue.

Optional website analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand website use and improve sound discovery and purchase flows. Measurements include page views, previews, filter choices, basket actions and confirmed purchases. Consent-based measurement covers the whole website, including pages without ads. Account pages use generic page names, without private request identifiers or form contents. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, order codes, search text, private clip titles or filenames to analytics. Purchase references are pseudonymised. Google may process technical browser and device information.

User and event data in Analytics are retained for 14 months, without resetting user retention on new visits. Aggregated reports may be retained longer. Google Signals and advertising personalisation in Analytics are disabled. You can refuse or withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer without affecting your ability to buy sounds.

Export and deletion

In My sounds you can export your data and delete your profile. Access to sounds ends and your own clips and support messages are deleted. Records that must be retained for accounting or legal obligations are excluded. Contact support for access, correction or other privacy questions.

Oderland provides hosting and private audio storage. Payments are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe/Link processes payment data for payments, tax, fraud prevention and legal requirements under its privacy policy. Hampis does not store full card details. Stripe and, when ads or analytics are enabled, Google may process data outside the EU/EEA. Their policies describe recipients, countries and safeguards including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions.

Country checks when purchasing

We use your connection’s IP address to estimate its country and restrict new purchases to our supported sales countries. The lookup takes place locally on the Hampis server. No IP address is sent to the data provider, and the check stores no separate IP history or cookie. Existing security and server logs follow our usual retention policy. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in enforcing sales restrictions and preventing incorrect purchases. The country estimate may be wrong, for example when travelling or using a VPN. Contact support for a manual review if you are incorrectly blocked. Existing purchases, free downloads and support are unaffected.

Purposes, retention and rights

Profile, purchase and support data are needed to perform the agreement and assist you. Older purchases come from the previous Hampis system. Security records are processed based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service. Financial records are retained by law. Advertising and analytics purposes requiring consent are handled through Google’s dialog.

Profile, purchase access and support history are retained while your account is used and needed for the service. Completed mail queue records are removed after 90 days; failed message content after seven days. Security records remain as needed to investigate errors or abuse. Accounting records are excluded from profile deletion for the statutory period.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent. You may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
